Curtain falls for LAWOJ 2021

Thiruvananthapuram :- A week long legal awareness program LAWOJ jointly organised by District Legal Services Authority in association with Kerala Law Academy Legal Aid Clinic And Services and National Service Scheme under the aegis of National Legal Service Authority of India ( NALSA) has come to an end.

The valedictory session was inaugurated virtually by Smt. Jubiya A, Secretary and Sub Judge Legal Service Authority, Thiruvanathapuram on 27th October 2021 at 6 p.m. Sub judge in her remarks emphasized upon the role of students in spreading awareness for the society specially referring to law students and also expressed her heartfelt gratitude to all those who worked behind the LAWOJ initiative.Report of the week long legal awareness program was presented by Smt. Reshmi Soman. The welcome address of the valedictory session was delivered by Shri. Arun. V. Unnithan and the vote of thanks was proposed by Adv. Arya Sunil paul.

The event was inaugurated on 20th October by Kerala High Court Judge Justice Muhammad Niaz. Week long awareness program had classes from eminent persons including Family Court Judge K . Shibu Menon, MACT Judge N. Sheshadri Nathan, Sub judge Shibu Daniel, Dr. Kailasnath Pillai, Adv. Narayan Radhakrishnan, Adv. Bhuvanendran Nair.Luminieries like K. Sunilkumar Judge and Chairman of TLSC, Law Academy Director Adv. Nagaraj Narayanan, Prof. Harindran Principal Law Academy, Prof. Ajitha Nair, Prof. Anil Kumar, Dr. Dakshina saraswathi were also part of the event.

A week long awareness program featured a variety of competitions including quizzes, debates, poster making, essay writing and elocution competition. Winners of the competition were announced in the valedictory session by Smt.Jubiya .A, Secretary and Sub Judge, Legal Services Authority, Thiruvanathapuram.
