31st All India Moot Court (Second Virtual) Competition 2022 inaugural

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Law Academy Law College in association with the Kerala Law Academy Moot Court Society organized the 31st All India Moot Court Competition. A moot court competition not only helps the students to boost their confidence and remove the fear of public speaking, but it also gives them an insight into the real world of litigation. The function commenced at 5 pm on the 9th of February 2022, virtually. It was inaugurated by Hon’ble Prof R. Bindu, Minister of Higher Education, Government of Kerala, she congratulated all the participants and winners in advance.

The virtual dais was honored with the word of welcome by Prof. Hareendran. K (Principal, Kerala Law Academy) followed by the presidential address by Dr.N.K. Jayakumar (Former Vice-Chancellor, NUALS, Kochi & Member Executive Committee, KLA) Dr. Dakshina Saraswathy (General Secretary, Kerala Law Academy Moot Court Society and Assistant Professor,KLA) gave the vote of thanks for this glorious function.
The competition will be held from 9th to 12th February 2022. The final round will be judged by the Hon’ble Judges of Supreme Court Justice V. Ramasubramanian, Justice C.T Ravikumar and Justice M.M Sundresh on the 12th of February. The winners will be awarded with KLA trophy and cash prize of Rs 100000 and the runner up will be awarded with a cash prize of Rs 50000 and trophy.
