The Moot Court Competition for law students at the National Level is for giving the students greater exposure in legal analysis and oratory skills and to inculcate in them a spirit of competition. Presently the All India Moot Competition has successfully completed its 28th year. The said competition for The Kerala Law Academy Trophy is the third oldest moot court competition in the country (The oldest competition being the Jessup (National Rounds) started in 1978 and the second oldest one being the Bar Council of India National Competition started in 1989). More significant is the fact that the Kerala Law Academy All India moot court competition attracts the highest number of participants and has the highest number of teams .

We are glad to inform you that the Kerala Law Academy Moot Court Society is conducting the 28th All India Moot Court Competition for the Kerala Law Academy Trophy from 09-02-2017 to 11-02-2017. It is the twenty-eighth year since the Annual Moot Court Competition for the Kerala Law Academy Trophy has been launched. It is also one of the oldest competitions in the country and we are proud that it is acclaimed by the academic community as well as by the legal circles as a trendsetter and one of the most prestigious moot court competitions organised in our country. The Competition has grown in prominence over the years and today it occupies a unique place in the National Calendar of Moot Court Competitions. More than 45 Universities / Law Colleges / Schools participated in the 27th All India Moot Court Competition held in February last year.
This competition is known for its professional set up and hospitality as understood from the responses of earlier participants.

Provisional Registration of the teams for the competition shall be done by sending email to Upon receipt of email confirmation from us, please send duly filled Proforma for Registration along with a Registration fee o f Rs. 5,000/-, to be paid in the form o f Demand Draft payable at Thiruvananthapuram, drawn in favour of:
