It is a great pleasure to inform you that Kerala Law Academy Law College in association with Centre for Advanced Legal Studies and Research (CALSAR) is organizing a National Seminar on "Anti-terrorism Law and Human Security", to be held on 3rd of October 2016 at JUSTICE V.R. KRISHNA IYER MEMORIAL HALL at Kerala Law Academy campus, Peroorkada, Trivandrum, Kerala. The National Seminar invite papers from Law Students, Students of Social, Economic and Political Department, Academicians, Lawyers, Policy makers, and officials from various institutions; - and NGO, Social Activists, Social science researchers and faculty and research scholars on the below mentioned themes and sub themes to be presented during the Seminar. We look forward to welcoming you and value your contribution in achieving the goal of this National Seminar which is to bring a socio-legal and policy clarification, among other things for effectively combating the global menace of Terrorism.  We would like to thank you in advance for your participation.

GUIDELINES ON SUBMISSION OF FULL PAPERS
  •         The organizers of the Seminar call upon Law Students, Academicians, Lawyers, policy makers, and officials from various institutions; NGO, Social Activists, Social science researchers and faculty and research scholars of relevant disciplines to present their well-researched papers at the seminar, relevant to the above themes.

  •          Kindly confine yourself to the areas identified for the Seminar. The papers should be in Times New Roman Font 12 size in A4 format, single line spacing, not exceeding 3000 words including Footnotes.

  •              The papers shall be screened by a committee. A maximum of40approved papers chosen by the committee shall be accepted for presentation in the seminar.

  •  The submission of abstract and submission of full paper upon approval of the abstract followed by registration of participation upon approval of full paper shall be email to ckaths2016@gmail.com

  •              The final paper should contain a cover page which shallinclude Name, Designation, Relevant Discipline and Year of Study, Address, email id and Contact number.

  •             Papers should be written in English, and the working language of the seminar will be English and presentations shall be done in English.

  •              Co-authorship is permitted, subject to a limit of maximum two authors per submission. But among the two only one person will be allowed to present the paper so submitted.

  •          No part of the paper should have been published earlier nor should it be under consideration for publication. Any form of plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification.

  •          Participants & selected paper presenters (including author and co-author) will be required to fill out the form which will be send through email after intimation of selection of paper or upon request for participation in the seminar.

  •               There will be a registration fee of1000/- for each participant, Author & Co-author separately.

  •  The registration fee need only be paid at time of registration on the date of the seminar, i.e., 3rd of October 2016 at 8  am.

  •   Publication of papers submitted will be subject to the scrutiny of the publisher.

KEY DATES:
  •              Submission of abstract: 20th of September, 2016.

  •          Intimation of abstract acceptance on or before 21st of September 2016.

  •          Submission of full paper on acceptance of abstract: 25th of September 2016

  •               Intimation of acceptance of full paper along with attached Registration Form: 30th of September 2016

  •           Final Date for Completing Registration: 1st of October 2016

ACCOMMODATION & TRANSPORT:

Free Accommodation will be provided to female participants. Male participants can avail accommodation upon payment of Rs. 1,500/- each/per participant. Check-in time will start from 8 pm on 2nd of October 2016. Check-out time will start by the end of the Seminar on 3rd of October 2016. Free Transportation will be provided to participants upon arrival (within the city limits of Trivandrum) to the place of accommodation/venue and back to the point of departure.
